Where Do You Go When Things Fall Apart?

January 6, 2019 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

We all need support sometimes. Life doesn’t always go to plan, and when things fall apart, we need people we can turn to for help. But, it can be difficult to ask for help: we fear the vulnerability of admitting we need support, or we may not have anyone in our lives we can trust with our weakness. How can we get better at asking for support when we need it, and how can we build a community that supports each other through life?

Split Collection: Half of today’s *undesignated collection will be donated to Bilingual International Assistant Services, which works to ensure equal access to healthcare, mental health, and social services for all, regardless of national origin or language ability; www.bilingualstl.org. (*Note: If you pay your membership pledge through the collection, write “pledge” on your check, and it will not be divided.)

First Sunday Lunch: Start the year off right! Join the Young Ethicals for First Sun-day Lunch on January 6. We will have pizza, vegan/GF options, salad, and dessert. The cost is $6 for adults and $3 for kids 12 and under. Money raised will be donated directly to the Ethical Society.

And, don’t forget to bring a canned good for our ongoing food drive.
