First Friday Forum – Understanding Multiple Personality: A Therapist’s View

The January First Friday Forum will be on Jan. 8 at 7 p.m., the second Friday in January because the first one is New Year’s Day. The subject is “Understanding Multiple Personality: A Therapist’s View.” The presenter is Don Beere who, prior to his retirement as a professor and psychotherapist, specialized in researching and treating the disorder. According to Don, “Dissociative Identity Disorder, commonly known as ‘Multiple Personality,’ is complex and fascinating. It is one of the most serious mental disorders that is actually treatable.” Don will provide a window into the many aspects of what it means to have alternate identities, how they are created, how they are diagnosed and treated, etc. Please join us and invite your friends, members and non-members.
