In life, we are all bound together by our need to commune during life's sorrows. Ethical Society ceremonies honor the need for individuals to come together, building community by recognizing those things that make each of us unique and important.
At the end of life, a memorial or funeral ceremony honors the life of a loved one and fulfills
the needs of family and friends to say goodbye and mourn their loss.
The Ethical Society of St. Louis composes thoughtful ceremonies to honor the life and
individuality of the deceased. Leaders and Society staff will work with families to create
an environment that respects the feelings of family and friends.
Ceremonies may be conducted by Ethical Society officiates or by guest clergy.
A sample memorial service is available online.
